This Dave and Tim release is one of the first shows D&T ever played together. The Earth Day 1993 performance took place at the Prism Coffeehouse, a hallowed 140-seat Charlottesville, VA institution founded in 1966. The Prism has a rich history, hosting many musical legends over the years.
The 23-song setlist features songs from Remember Two Things and several that would make their future debut on Under the Table and Dreaming and Crash. Highlights include Granny, excellent slide guitar by Tim on So Much to Say and Angel From Montgomery.
4.22.1993 Prism Coffeehouse, Charlottesville, VA has been completely mastered and is available in its entirety.

This is just awesome to hear Dave and Tim together in the early years. It is pretty cool to hear how versions of songs such as Lie in our graves have progressed/changed over the years. Dave and Tim are just an unbelievable acoustic team. I highly recommend. I love the new "DMBLive" Series. Keep it coming!!!

I have to say the audio quality is perfect, the set list is great, and in my opinion this is better than the bootlegs of the show by far! The guys are also much more mellow during this show. It really makes you feel as if you were in a living room with the two guys while they are just playing away for you. I am not buttering this up, it is great!

I was at the actual recording of this album. It was awesome. It was one of those times that you knew it was going to be greatness.... you just had no idea how much. I miss those days, but am glad that I can now go back and listen. Thank you.

To hear one of the first shows Dave and Tim performed together is a real treat. Dave's voice so innocent, and pure, the young Matthew's does not fail at recieting lyrics during this set. The introduction gives you the sense as if you are back in '93 sitting in the coffee house, with a crowd no larger than 150 people.
This release is a must have, not just because it's D&T, but because it showcases Dave before in a time where he was just starting to break out his shell.
